According to Psalms 127:1, if your business or marketplace effort is not built on a foundation of godly principles, then your labor is truly in vain regardless of how successful you may be in the eyes of man.
All great leaders have a well-thought-out blueprint to guide them on their journey to success. If your plan is the key to your success, then God’s Word should be the foundation of your plan.
God has not promised to sustain or prosper any business or marketplace effort that does not reflect His principles. When you obey His commands, principles and plans for your business, He will lead you to unlimited prosperity and sustainable success.
You are more than a business owner or professional, you are an ambassador for God’s Kingdom, serving many times in a very hostile environment. An ambassador is generally defined as a diplomatic official of the highest rank. (2 Corinthians 5:20). Your professional success is to be used for His glory, not just your own success.
Your marketplace achievements are to be shining examples for others to witness God’s influence in your life and efforts. It’s up to you as God’s representative to set the standard for everyone else. When you do, you will have to use very few words to proclaim the goodness of God. The marketplace value you create will speak for itself.
If you are struggling in your business or marketplace effort, check your plan. Is there a clear connection between your plan and God’s covenant purpose for your life and Kingdom calling?
If not, the sooner you make the needed corrections, the sooner His covenant promises will start showing up on a daily basis. Why should an unbeliever in the same business be more successful?
“And all these blessings shall come
